Hello, I'd Like to Introduce Myself...

Hey guys, my name is Eleanor and welcome to my little space...

I am a seventeen-year-old girl who lives in Yorkshire, England and is currently studying for A-Levels at Driffield School & Sixth Form. Originally, the idea for blogging came about after my many failed attempts to keep a diary throughout my younger years. I loved the idea of having my life and my thoughts and feelings all together and written down so I could read them some day in the future. But, I was never any good at it and failed to keep it up for over a week or two. However I found that the Internet, although a much more public environment than a diary, is a lot more of an accessible creative outlet for my writing. I liked the idea of creating content that other people would read, enjoy and perhaps learn from. And thus, Eleanor's Little Space was born.

So what will this blog be about? Well, it'll be like many of the blogs on the Internet that inspired me, such as favourite YouTuber's Jim Chapman and Gemsmaquillage. I hope to build a diary-entry-type blog that details my life and thoughts in a way that is accessible, and hopefully entertaining, to other people. I myself love these types of blogs that give you an insight into other peoples lives, and, come on, I can't be the only nosy one.

I also have other pages to visit on my blog and one is called Eleanor's Little Jottings. I am an aspiring writer and would love to get some of my own material out there into the world. In fact, this whole blog was primarily going to be focused around that. I would like people to read my ideas and comment on them with what they thought was great, and what they thought didn't work so well. The idea is to use this as constructive criticism and help me learn what readers like and don't like, hoping to make writing a successful endeavour for the future

There are a few different ways I can be contacted and I encourage them all. I would love to hear my readers' thoughts, not only about my writing ideas, but about each of my blogs to. However, another way you can talk to me and give me your thoughts would be to comment on the blog posts after you've read them. I don't have a strict comment policy and I openly welcome both positive and negative feedback, as long as I don't find it personally insulting ;) One thing I would also like to see in comments would be ideas for other blog posts in the near future. I want to create a blog that is personal to me, but one that is also appealing to you, the readers.
